in this episode, we find our hero on the road
...he hasn't seen a sign for weeks,
and his soul-searching mission
has turned from enlightenment
to something far more bleak.
a mess of letters and long-distance calls
consume his life
until there's nothing more than a game.
and though the name of the state changes
from day to day
the scenery remains the same.

life has become a series of events he can't remember
which are as constant
as the chainging weather.

meanwhile, our damsel in distress
crafts yet another symbol
of her tearful, tragic martyrdom.
she only lifts her shroud for long enough
to draw the blinds
and check to see if the day's mail has come.
she lives in such fear of rejection
that we all live in fear
of inadvertedlybreaking her heart.
little does she know
that this apprehension
is what drives them further apart.

he feels the chains grow tighter
even from so many miles away,
and her world grows darker
as her mailbox remains empty every day.
she pens another suicide note
disguised as a love letter,
and she is as stable as the
constant as the
stable as the

...as the changing weather.
